The Nisqually Widows is a local social group open to Military Widows, both enlisted and officers.  They are open to all military widows in this area and meet monthly for a luncheon at Panorama.

Our speaker for our February meeting was David Bartruff who is in charge of the AARP program to help people file their taxes.  A number of the people at the luncheon have used these services for years.

Our March meeting will be held on March 21st.  The speaker will be Cindy Hoover who will speak about the Quilts Of Valor Program.  The group gathers about 11 am, lunch is served at 11:30 and the program begins after lunch.

If there are any widows that are interested in being a part of this group, would like more information, or would like to attend the luncheon; they may contact Ruth Brigden at or calling 360-438-5786.
