**Scholarship Applications for 2026 will open in October 2025**
The Olympia Area Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) awards $1,000 scholarships annually to graduating high school seniors planning to attend accredited trade schools or two- or four-year colleges. Students must be graduating from high schools within Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Pacific or Lewis counties in Washington state to be eligible. We award these scholarships based on academic excellence, community service, extracurricular activity, letters of recommendation and an essay submitted by the student.
